We collected this information to evaluate your request for credit and to perform services involving the credit transaction you entered into for the purchase of your vehicle.
As a California resident you have the following other rights: You have the right to certain disclosures related to the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected. You have the right to request the deletion of personal information, subject to some limitations. We do not sell your personal information, but if we did you have the right to “opt-out” of the sale of your personal information. We will not discriminate against your because you exercised any of these rights. We will only use the information submitted in your verifiable request for the purpose of verification.
To exercise these rights or submit a verifiable request you do not need to create any type of account with us. In certain instances, we may not be required to provide requested information to you more than twice in a 12-month period.
You can submit a verifiable request to us you by either (1) calling us at the following toll-free number 888-217-6382, (2) submitting an electronic request to CustomerPrivacy@veroscredit.com , or (3) submitting an electronic request through the portal at https://www.veroscredit.com/contact-us/ . We will honor a verifiable request submitted by an authorized agent if we receive signed, written permission authorizing the agent to act on your behalf and you verify your identity with us. For all requests, we ask that you please include your first and last name, your address, phone number and your account number in this request. Should you submit a verifiable request, we will respond within 45 days of receipt. If we need another 45 days to respond we will send you notice before the 45 days expires. Our response will be delivered to you by mail or electronically in a format that is portable and readily useable without hindrance. Any personal information collected from you in connection with your verifiable consumer request will solely be used for the purpose of complying with the request.
We do not disclose your personal information that is inconsistent with our privacy policy. Therefore, we do not and will not sell your personal information to other business or third parties.
Your rights as stated under this privacy policy and the California Consumer Privacy Act may be impacted by: our obligations and duties imposed by federal, state, or local law, to comply with any civil, criminal, or regulatory inquiry, investigation, subpoena, or summons by federal, state, or local authorities, and to cooperate with law enforcement agencies concerning conduct or activity that the business, service provider, or third party reasonably and in good faith believes may violate federal, state, or local law. Your rights may also be impacted by and shall not restrict our ability to exercise or defend any legal claim, to collect, use, retain, sell, or disclose consumer information that is deidentified or is aggregate consumer information, or to collect or sell a consumer’s personal information if every aspect of that commercial conduct takes place wholly outside of California.
